First they fell in love with words.
Then they fell in love with each other.
And that's when the magic really started!
Once upon a time, long, long ago...
There was a lady in Atlanta called Cheri
Who was always beautiful, witty and merry.
She was a PR by trade and wrote stories too,
For Coke and Hitachi, to name but a few.
One day a genie appeared, to whom she did say,
“Let me marry a prince from a land far away.”
With the blink of an eye, all her wishes came true.
An Englishman arrived in a carriage for two.
He said, “Welcome fair maiden. My name is Trevor.
I may not be a prince, but with words I’m clever.”
Known for resumes, and his book edits were strong,
He wooed her with poems, and he wooed her with song.
First married to words, then they married each other,
A marriage that let all their magic uncover.
Their talents combined for their skills to align,
And Magic Sparkle was born in 2009.
If you would like to reveal the magic in you,
Then call Cheri and Trevor so you’ll sparkle too...
...and live happily ever after.
Call us to make your writing sparkle.

Who nothing would ever embarrass,
Until one day
Her bra flew away
And landed in plaster-of-Paris!

Trevor started playing with words when he was 12 years old. Getting in trouble with teachers for writing nonsense limericks about them was just the start. At university, he studied Edward Lear’s A Book of Nonsense, a collection of short stories and whimsical limericks. He graduated in Teaching English as a Second Language and achieved the top grade in Advanced-Level English.
When he launched the Magic Sparkle Writing Service in 2009, he hoped he would have clients lining up for more nonsense. That has not happened, but his clients have been diverse and include experts in hypnotism, philosophy, fitness, and online marketing, as well as business owners, educators, journalists, and employees of the CDC.
Much of his work is as a ghostwriter or editor for authors and helping writers to improve their craft. He is also a prolific resume writer and an editor of scientific papers. His philosophy is simply to add the magic sparkle to his clients' writing.
He works with Cheri on larger projects, and together they provide a second set of eyes on each other’s work. Remember, whether you need nonsense or not, with the Magic Sparkle Writing Service, you get two editors for the price of one and two creative minds to make your project sparkle.
